Visionary leaderships think about youth empowerment in an attitudinal, structural, and cultural process whereby young people gain the ability to make decisions and implement change in their own lives and the lives of other people. In Eritrea today the youth participate in every sector of society and nation building process, meanwhile in the diaspora Eritrean youth are taking matters into their own hands to make change that will benefit their people's and their own future.

As an observer of the 4th annual YPFDJ conference, I witnessed close to 400 Eritrean youth from all over the world united together to build a strong, conscious and patriotic youth movement unheard of in other communities. It was mesmerizing to see an Eritrean-Aussie chatting with an Eritrean from France about the common things that bind them together which is YPFDJ and Eritreanism. When the Eritrean youth from Holland was running around to make sure that other Eritrean youth were happy with their lodging Eritrean youth from Italy and Germany were very thankful as were the Eritrean youth from the Scandinavian nations as well as Eritreans from the good ole US of A (United States) Switzerland, Great Britain, Kenya and one strong Eritrean from Belgium. The camaraderie that was felt can only be witnessed by being present there in order to understand the feeling of joy as may parents did from Holland the host nation when they were invited to be a part of the conference in a closing ceremony as they witnessed the torch being carried by their children to maintain and protect the very Eritrea that their generation and previous generations fought for.

Shaebianism or EPLF-PFDJ is an ideology in a class of it's own.

There can never be another like it. It is a way of life and existence for every patriotic Eritrean and it grows with you as you are born and become baptized and transform into an Eritrean adult. Some don't have a clue what it is and they are missing out BIG TIM! and There are also those who abandon it but eventually have no choice but to bring it back into their soul and mind as the history of the Eritrean people Liberation Front remains the only true movement that has beaten the odds to create a self reliant and strong independent nation from scratch. Every day the majority of Eritreans breath, eat and drink Eritrea and the 4th YPFDJ conference in Holland was a clear indication of that. I recommend all Eritrean youth to get involved and be the best you can be by joining this unique youth movement taking place as we speak. It will make you proud and give you the hope that you have always been looking for. It will help you maintain your values, culture and help you learn the history of the brave Eritrean people.

At the conference many unique individuals were present and to be among them was a privilege and a great honor. The YPFDJ chapters from all over Europe and more should be commended for all that they do.

Job Description

Applicants selected will be subject to YPFDJ background check and must meet eligibility requirements for access to positive and truthful Eritrean information. Must be clearable to the true Eritrean values.

The can do attitude and the self reliance mentality that is slowly changing Eritrea into a self sufficient nation.

The primary responsibilities of this position are to build a strong conscious and patriotic youth movement. Members or members to be, will respond to internet and media lies by anti-Eritrean elements. Make sure that facts are used to tell Eritrea's stories as well as escalate the defense of coordinated attacks by the hateful anti-Eritrean websites when deemed necessary. Recommend a course of action to each lie that comes from the western media. Serve as an initial partner during YPFDJ organized Events of Interest locally, nationally and internationally. Establishes and initiates new ideas to bring Eritrean youth together. Tracks, follows-up, and resolves to help improve YPFDJ chapters he/she may be a part of and connected to. Will be responsible for creating new ideas and working closely with the leaders of each Eritrean organizations within your city. Initiates and maintains contact with Eritrean youth and YPFDJ members throughout the US, Canada and the rest of the world.

* YPFDJ members may spend some time in monthly meetings. Pay dues each month.

* He/She will be responsible for taking the Political, Eritrean History and youth movement classes.

* Provide consulting advice on vulnerabilities or potential vulnerabilities and help improve the YPFDJ.

* Learn to Communicate with excellent oral and written skills if possible in one of the main Eritean languages.

* Attend Sawa youth festivals. YPFDJ Europe, Australia and Eritrea conferences when you can

Job Requirements

* Requires a few years of connection to the motherland( Weather born or not born in the diaspora) respect cherish and never betray the motherland that has lost thousands of martyrs.

* Must possess a background in unconditionally loving Eritrea.

* Assist in developing, managing, communicating, and implementing a new idea to enhance the YPFDJ, youth, while working closely with adult PFDJ members.

* It is preferred that this person be a current Certified Eritrea lover and Peace lover, or member of a youth organization strictly working in the interest of Eritrea.
